HOPE’s new van enables on-site testing, education
Tulsa HOPE (Health Outreach Prevention Education) has acquired a
van that allows it to perform more outreach in the community and which
can serve as a comfortable and private area to test people for HIV,
hepatitis C and other diseases.
The dark blue Ford
Transit was bought a few weeks ago and has already been sent out into
the community. The van means HOPE can go to companies and nonprofit
organizations to perform testing even if there isn’t an ideal space for
them in a building, said Kathy L. Williams, executive director.
