Viral Hepatitis Updates from the HHS Office of HIV/AIDS and Infectious Disease Policy
This past week has been extremely busy in our office! We launched the Partner Planning Guide (Guide) for the National Viral Hepatitis Action Plan, a tool designed for use by individuals, groups, and organizations conducting programs or strategic planning efforts for HBV and/or HCV. We appreciate the positive feedback from those of you have already started to use the Guide. If you haven’t already, please take a few minutes to look at the Guide and think about how you can use it to help meet your community’s needs. We invite you to share your unique plans with us and with others engaged in the fight against viral hepatitis.
We announced two webinars exploring the impact of the opioid epidemic on infectious disease with national partners and their members. The webinars will provide insights into how states and local organizations are working to address the opioid epidemic and infectious diseases, particularly hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV.
